A new admin tab, Duplicates, beside Missing files: the proposals from
the duplicate sweep, with a Sweep now trigger and a Not duplicates
dismissal. Nothing on it merges or deletes; the merge is #3911.
Each group shows:
- whether it is identical audio or the same recording, with a match
percentage from the weakest link between members
- every copy's format, size, duration, path, and the likes and plays
it carries (every user's; this is admin-only, and it is what decides
which copy to keep)
- the copy proposed to keep, and the rule that chose it
The survivor rule is library.ProposeSurvivor, a pure function the
merge will reuse: lossless over lossy, then the larger file, then the
copy in the library longest, then lowest id. Bitrate is not in it
because the scanner never fills tracks.bitrate, and for one recording
at one duration a larger file is the higher bitrate. m4a is not counted
as lossless: it may be AAC. The reason names the rule that separated
first place from second, not every rule the winner passed.
An empty report has three causes, and the page says which: still
fingerprinting, the sweep has never run, or it ran and found nothing.
The sweep's state and the backfill's progress come back with the groups
for that reason. Groups left with fewer than two members since the
sweep are not shown.
GET /api/admin/library/duplicates, POST .../sweep (202, or 409
sweep_in_progress), POST .../{id}/dismiss (404
duplicate_group_not_pending when already resolved).
Migration 0060 indexes play_events by track_id. Its only indexes led
with user_id, so each copy's play count, and the merge's repointing of
play history, would scan the whole table.
Web only, like Missing files: Android has no library-health admin
screens.

The tab list is pinned by name and order, so adding Missing files
failed the assertion. That is the test doing its job: the nav is a
deliberate ordering, not an accident, and a new entry should have to
be declared rather than slipping in.
The recommendation scoring knobs move out of YAML (radio profile) and
out of the systemMixWeights hard-code (daily_mix profile) into
DB-backed settings with live effect (#1250) — the defaults-discovery
lab per decision #1247: the operator turns knobs to find good values,
which then get baked back into shipped defaults; end users and other
operators should never need the card.
- Migration 0040: recommendation_weight_profiles (radio / daily_mix,
8 weight columns), taste_tuning singleton (engagement half-life +
completion-curve points), recommendation_tuning_audit (one row per
change with a {field, old, new} diff — the trend view's markers,
#1251).
- internal/recsettings: boot reconcile seeds shipped defaults without
clobbering tuned rows (coverart SettingsService pattern), validates
patches (bounds, curve ordering), writes audit rows, and pushes
daily_mix weights + taste config into package playlists. No-op
patches write no audit row.
- playlists gains SetSystemMixWeights / SetTasteConfig swap points
under a RWMutex — no signature threading through the producers; the
scheduler's taste rebuild reads the pushed config.
- Radio reads its weight profile from the service per request; the 8
weight fields leave config.RecommendationConfig (YAML keeps only
RecentlyPlayedHours / RadioSize / RadioSizeMax).
- Admin API: GET/PATCH/reset under /api/admin/recommendation-tuning,
echoing current + shipped values.
- Web: new admin Tuning tab — two weight profiles side by side, taste
card, per-scope save (changed fields only) + reset, deviation dots
against shipped defaults.

Surfaces client-reported playback failures from /api/admin/playback-errors
in a new admin tab. Tabs: Unresolved (default) / Resolved. Each row
shows track + artist + album, error kind badge, who hit it, when,
optional client-supplied detail, and the absolute file path so the
operator can grep the library mount without leaving the page.
Per-row actions (RowActionsMenu):
- Resolve (primary) — modal with Fixed / Ignored dropdown for the
"no further action taken" cases.
- Copy — JSON payload to clipboard with track_id / file_path / kind
/ detail / reporter / client_id / occurred_at. Matches the
operator's "logs with a copy-out function" ask.
- Delete file (danger, modal-confirm) — uses the existing
/api/admin/quarantine/{track_id}/delete-file endpoint AND
auto-stamps resolution='deleted' so a single click closes both
the file and the inbox row.
Deferred to a follow-up: Hide (the existing quarantine flow is
per-user-flag, not a true library-hide), and Re-request via Lidarr
(needs album MBID join — not in the current ListAdminPlaybackErrors
projection).
Also: admin tab list grows from five to six; AdminTabs.test.ts
updated.
Centralizes the inline { page: { get url() { return state.pageUrl } } }
mock shape via test-utils/mocks/appState.ts. The vi.hoisted state
declaration remains per-file (vitest mock-hoisting requires module-
level declaration). Adds a $test-utils alias to svelte.config.js so
the helper can be imported without ../../../ chains.
SKIPPED (mock exposes more than url):
- Shell.test.ts, MobileNavDrawer.test.ts, admin.test.ts: static
page: { url: ... } shape, no hoisted state to centralize.
- album.test.ts, artist.test.ts: page exposes both params and url.
- playlist.test.ts, reset-password.test.ts: page exposes params only.

New admin route /admin/users with two sections:
- Accounts — table of all users (username, optional display name,
admin badge, created_at). Per-row "Make admin" / "Remove admin"
button calls PUT /api/admin/users/{id}/admin. Last-admin guard
surfaces as a toast ("Can't remove the last admin — promote
someone else first").
- Invites — list of active invites with Copy + Revoke per row.
"Generate invite" button creates a 24h token. Operator shares
the token with the invitee, who enters it on /register.
AdminTabs gains a "Users" tab (5 tabs total). New typed client
functions in admin.ts (listUsers, updateUserAdmin, listInvites,
createInvite, deleteInvite) plus query factory functions
createAdminUsersQuery / createAdminInvitesQuery and query keys
qk.adminUsers / qk.adminInvites.
Tests cover: list rendering, admin badge, promote/demote actions,
last-admin guard toast, invite generation, revoke flow, empty states.
AdminTabs.test.ts updated to assert 5 tabs and Users active state.

The /admin layout had three nested concentric shells: the global Shell
header + main nav, then a per-admin header banner with a Sword icon, then
a left-aligned admin sub-nav (AdminSidebar) — two competing left-edge
navigation columns plus a redundant 'Admin' label that the URL and active
nav already conveyed.
Replaces the side sub-nav with a horizontal tab strip across the top of
the admin content (matches the discover-page tab pattern), drops the
duplicate header banner, and removes the disabled Users/Library
placeholder items so the tab strip only shows surfaces that actually
ship today. The component is renamed AdminSidebar -> AdminTabs to match
its new shape.
