feat: one recording cut to several songs' lengths is named by AcoustID; the copy in its slot stays, the rest go, and the release is set aside (#6169)

Savant's Mortals held one recording as 16 of its 50 tracks, each trimmed to its own slot's MusicBrainz length, so the lengths could not say which slot was its own and every group waited for the operator. When a one-album mismatch is the same audio (identical, or fingerprints within 0.02) and every copy fits its own slot, the resolver asks what the recording is: the copies' own AcoustID lookups, or a fresh lookup of one copy (five a pass). The track list names each slot's recording; the copy in that slot is kept and the others removed, or every copy when the recording is in none of their slots or AcoustID knows none. AcoustID unreachable or answers in several copies' slots: the group waits. Whenever wrong-slot copies are removed, the download the files were imported from is set aside, so the album fetched again is not the same files. Albums imported before Minstrel downloaded anything have none. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

20 of the 34 groups left for review had no cached track list for their album: the catalogue only reads one when the wanted list or the importer needs it. The resolver now asks catalogue.RefreshReleaseGroup for an album it must decide and the catalogue has never read, through the shared MusicBrainz pacer, at most five a pass (hourly). An unreachable MusicBrainz stops the pass's fetching; a group read and found empty is not asked about again. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

Migration 0091 drops lidarr_config and renames the quarantine tables, types, indexes and the history column off the Lidarr name. The Integrations Lidarr card, the Reports "Delete via Lidarr" action, the merge and remove-track unmonitor options, the Lidarr audit actions and error codes go, on the server, web and Android. The README describes acquisition as it is now. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

- acquisition_settings.upgrade_until (default High quality lossy, Lidarr's cutoff, note #5527; "" is off), an "Upgrade until" row under Searching. - The wanted worker judges held albums hourly: tier per format from size per second (the scanner records no bitrate), the album's worst. Below the cutoff it is wanted for quality; a video rip among its tracks always. - The schedule searches upgrades weekly, after open wants; a release no better than the copy held is refused ("not_better"). - The import matches each file to the track it would replace (recording, then disc/track) and replaces it when it is a rip or the file is a better tier: over the same path in one rename, or filed beside it and the old track folded in (library.ReplaceTrack: file first, then foldTrackInto). Nothing better: the release is set aside. - Collection › Upgrades (Lidarr's Cutoff Unmet); Suspect sources says when a clean copy was looked for instead of Lidarr's search. Ported from Fabled Librarian's System 104. A new lifecycle poller, every ten minutes: - a download the client fails is given up at once; - one nobody shares, or still fetching its file list, past the stall setting (6 h) is asked for again three times, then given up; - giving up removes the download with its files, holds the release back for a week (release_blocks.expires_at), ends the grab and searches the album again, with no limit per album; - a running download the client stops listing for half an hour ends and is searched again, not held back; an empty list is not taken as gone; - an imported download seeds to ratio 2.0 or 14 days, then is removed; - a download the client would not remove is asked again every pass. Every condition and act is one open row per (client, download, condition) in download_interventions. Activity shows what is wrong with a download and how often it was retried, why one ended, its seeding, and a banner for a client that does not answer. A running download can be given up by hand (set aside for good). The seed ratio, seed days and stall hours are on the search settings card. The download client lookup moves to acquire.DownloadClientFor, shared by the importer and the lifecycle. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

A finished download is checked against MusicBrainz before anything is filed: the files are paired with an edition's tracks by position or path, and AcoustID, tag ids, lengths and titles say whether it is the album. What is the album is copied into the library as Artist/Album (Year)/Artist - Album - NN - Title, tagged with Picard's MusicBrainz ids, and scanned; the download keeps seeding. What is not is refused: set aside, removed from the client, and the album searched for again. A download the check cannot settle waits for a person, who imports it anyway or refuses it. Tracks the library already holds are skipped. The wanted list leaves Admin for a top-level Wanted view, admin-only and web-only, with tabs for Wanted, Activity (downloads and their imports, the ones needing a person first), Missing files, Held, Following (with the release-type profiles, moved off Integrations) and Blocked. The search settings gain "File new music into" when the library has several folders. The search pass logs why each failed search failed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

- internal/release: reads a release name (format, bitrate, bit depth and sample rate, source, year, video, discography) and judges it against the album wanted: the artist and title must be in it; video rips, discographies, other versions (drumless, instrumental, karaoke, remix, live unless the album is live…) and singles or EPs for an album are refused. Quality tiers on Lidarr's ladder; a .torrent's file list is read for format, video files and a track count short of the album. - internal/acquire: fan-out across every search source with a narrowed search kept, a process-wide pacer per source, every candidate judged and kept with its reasons, and the grab: one live grab per want, tie-broken (a person's grab beats the schedule's; a better release replaces a worse one unless it is nearly done). Each download lands in its own folder under the client's downloads folder. - internal/wanted: the search schedule, every ten minutes, never-searched first, then requests, missing files and followed artists, taking the best release when auto-grab is on (the default). - Migration 0082: acquisition_settings (auto-grab, interval, allowed qualities seeded from Lidarr's "Any"), want search columns, want_candidates, grabs, release_blocks. - Web: the Wanted page shows each want's last search, a Search button and every release found with its verdict (Grab, Grab anyway, Never this one, Allow again). Integrations gains "Searching and grabbing". Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

Minstrel keeps its own list of what it is to get, keyed by MusicBrainz release group. A want comes from an approved request, a new release by a followed artist, or an album whose files went missing, and is held once the library has a full edition of it. - Migration 0081: release_type_profiles (Standard seeded: Album, EP, Single, studio only), follows, follow_seen_groups and wants. lidarr_requests becomes requests with plain *_mbid columns; approved album and track requests move onto the wanted list, approved artist requests become follows, and the library's album artists start out followed. missing_reacquisitions and the retry settings go. - internal/wanted: follows are checked against MusicBrainz discographies daily. The first check sets a baseline, and only releases after it are wanted unless the follow asked for what already exists. Profiles filter by primary and secondary type, so live recordings stay out unless a profile ticks Live. - internal/requests (was lidarrrequests): approving puts the request on the wanted list, and an artist request can be approved on a chosen profile. A request completes when its want is held. - The re-acquisition sweeper wants a missing album back instead of asking Lidarr; searching for it is the search schedule's (#5521). - Web: an admin Wanted page (Wanted, Missing files, Held, Following), a follow control on artist pages, a release-type profiles card on Integrations, "Approve on a profile" on Requests, and want state on Missing files. The artist detail API returns the artist's MBID. - Android: the request body sends artist_mbid, album_mbid and track_mbid. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

Minstrel keeps its own record of what artists have released, read from MusicBrainz, so the wanted list, search and import no longer need Lidarr. - internal/musicbrainz: searches (artists, release groups, recordings) and browses (an artist's release groups; a group's releases with track lists). One process-wide pacer at 1.1s, shared with tag enrichment, because MusicBrainz's limit is per address. A 503 throttle is retried. - Migration 0080: mb_artists, mb_release_groups, mb_artist_release_groups (a collaboration belongs to each credited artist), mb_releases, mb_release_tracks. - internal/catalogue: Discography and Releases serve the held copy and re-read it when older than 7 or 30 days. An unreachable MusicBrainz serves the stale copy, marked. An hourly pass re-reads due artists. - Art for what isn't held comes through /api/catalogue/art from the enabled cover-art sources (Cover Art Archive by release group, then the name-based sources) and is kept on disk, so the browser never fetches a third-party host. A miss is a 404 and the card shows its icon. - Request search moves from /api/lidarr/search to /api/catalogue/search, with the same response shape. Albums are release groups, and "in library" matches albums.release_group_mbid. A 10-minute cache absorbs search-as-you-type. Discover suggestions point at the art endpoint instead of looking up Lidarr. - Android calls the new path and loads Discover art through ServerImage. Installed builds older than this one lose Discover search until they update (no compatibility path, rule 22). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

Lidarr is off, and with it the resolver had stopped merging: it only merged when Lidarr had said which copies it mapped. Minstrel is now the only program writing the library, so the rule is about the copies: - A song held twice on one album: the extra copies merge into the one whose tags fit best (then lossless, larger, older). - Across releases or under another title: when every copy but one is a video rip (held back, or named like one and not marked fine), the rips merge into the one that is not. - Clean copies on different releases are linked as one song, as before. - Anything else waits for the operator. Gone with Lidarr: release switches and their settle window, the unmapped-file read, the rip search, the merge guard and its 409/503, lidarr.Client's release methods, and duplicate_group_members.lidarr_state (migration 0078). The duplicates page drops the per-copy Lidarr badge and the blocked-merge notice; past release changes stay in its history. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

The duplicate sweep proposed 4,197 groups and every one waited for the operator. Most are safe to settle, and Lidarr defines what safe means: it maps one file to each track of the release it monitors and downloads any mapped file that disappears. Deleting a mapped copy opens exactly the hole the operator saw Lidarr fill. Classify (#5435) - Migration 0075: duplicate_groups.class (same_release, cross_release, mismatch, review), resolve_note, resolved_automatically; duplicate_group_members.lidarr_state (tracked, unmapped); fingerprint_settings.auto_resolve; notification kind duplicates_resolved with both kind CHECKs swapped (rule 36). - library.ClassifyDuplicateGroup, with MatchTitleKey dropping featuring credits, remaster notes and video-rip markers, and keeping live, demo, remix and instrumental. The rip markers move from api to library. Choose the copy to keep (#5436) - ProposeSurvivor ranks the copy Lidarr maps first, then tag fit (a clash-free track number, no rip marker in the name, an MBID), then the quality rules. File size picked the wrong Humanz copy in 6 of 21 groups. Act (#5437) - An hourly resolver pass reads Lidarr's unmapped files, matched by the last three path components, and records each copy's state. - Same album, with at most one copy mapped: merged into the mapped copy. The merge is guarded, so a mapped copy can never be removed (MergeDuplicateGroupGuarded, ErrCopyTrackedByLidarr). - Same album, every copy mapped: the monitored release lists the song twice (Humanz's 14x12" box set). The pass moves Lidarr to the release that lists each song once and best covers what is on disk. It never picks one covering less, and is capped at 10 albums per pass. - Fixed point (lesson #4183): the chosen release no longer repeats. - The album is left alone for 24h while Lidarr rescans, so "every copy unmapped" mid-rescan is never read as licence to merge. - Both actions are audited with no actor and summarised to admins. The operator can switch them off in the Fingerprinting card (rule 25). - Manual merges use the same guard: 409 copy_tracked_by_lidarr, or 503 lidarr_unavailable when Lidarr cannot say. Web - Duplicates gets tabs: Needs review, Across releases, Resolved automatically. Each loads as you scroll (rule 172), replacing the pager. - Each copy says whether Lidarr uses it. - The resolver's note shows on each group. - The merge confirm blocks, before sending, a merge that would remove the copy Lidarr uses. Nothing is emailed per event. New music (request_completed) goes out at most once a day, at the summary hour in each user's own timezone, grouped by artist. Everything else is batched: one email a window after the first un-emailed item, holding whatever accumulated. - Migration 0074: notification_email_settings (summary hour, batch window, admin-configurable) and user_notification_email_state (batch start, last sent, failures and retry_after per user and group). Existing rows are stamped emailed so the upgrade sends no backlog. - The Notifier stamps emailed_at at write time when the recipient's email channel is off, so turning email on later doesn't send old items. - Read rows are never selected. A row is stamped only after the mailer accepts, in one transaction with the state, against the read's clock, so a coalesced row updated mid-send stays pending. - A failed send backs off 5m doubling to 6h; SMTP not configured just waits. - Links come from the public address; without one the email has none. - The mailer now RFC 2047-encodes subjects and strips line breaks from them. - Admin → Integrations gains a Notification emails card. - A failed scan run sends scan_failed. Each failure adds to the count and the notice shows the latest error. A scan cut short by shutdown says nothing. - Marking tracks missing sends tracks_missing with a running count. - A duplicate sweep that proposes a group it had not proposed before sends duplicates_found, counting everything awaiting review. A sweep that only re-finds known groups stays quiet, so a read notice isn't repeated every sweep (CountDuplicateGroupsDetectedSince). - A playback-error report sends playback_errors, counting the unresolved errors (CountUnresolvedPlaybackErrors). feat(notifications): requests and flags reach the people who act on them (#5340)
- A new request still pending after any auto-approval notifies the admins (request_pending), but not the requester if they are an admin. A request that dedups into one already in flight is not announced again. - Approving or rejecting a request notifies the requester, and a rejection carries the admin's notes as the reason. An admin deciding their own request gets nothing. - The reconciler notifies the requester when their request arrives (request_completed), linking the matched album or artist. - A request the re-acquisition sweeper files and cannot approve itself notifies the admins. - A quarantine flag notifies every admin except the flagger, naming the track, the flagger and the reason. lidarrrequests.Service.CreateTracked reports whether a request was inserted or deduped; Create wraps it. M489 step 1. The event bus is fire-and-forget, so a client that isn't connected never hears that a request completed or that tracks went missing. user_notifications is the durable record; the bus only nudges. - Migration 0073: user_notifications (kind CHECK-gated, payload jsonb, read_at, coalesce_key, emailed_at) and user_notification_prefs (per user, per kind: inbox, phone, email). A missing pref row means the kind's defaults, so nothing is seeded. - internal/notifications.Notifier is the only writer. It resolves recipients (admin kinds reach admins only, and never the excepted user), honours the inbox pref (phone and email ride on it), writes, and publishes a contentless notification.created nudge per recipient. - Burst-prone admin kinds coalesce into one unread row: tracks_missing and scan_failed add up their counts, duplicates_found and playback_errors take the latest total. Once read, the next event is a new row. - Retention: read rows go after 90 days, anything after a year, on the library_changes compactor's daily shape. Tests: unit (channel rules, kind table) and integration (recipients, nudge, coalescing both ways, prefs, owner-scoped idempotent mark-read, every kind against both schema CHECKs, retention cut-offs). feat(library): AcoustID lookup worker fills the MBIDs tags leave empty (M401 #3920 #3921)

Migration 0069 adds tracks.mbid_source (tag | acoustid), a lookup state per track (matched | ambiguous | no_match | failed) and the acoustid_settings row (off, no key, min score 0.85). The file's tag outranks a lookup (D4). UpsertTrack keeps a looked-up id through a re-read that finds no tag id and replaces it as soon as one appears. SetTrackMbidFromAcoustID refuses to write over a tag id. The worker fingerprints each untagged track with fpcalc's compressed print, looks it up and writes an id only when D5 settles it: one recording at or above the threshold, or one left after matching title and length. Ambiguous and no-match results write nothing. A key AcoustID refuses, or the service being unreachable, stops the pass and is reported in the worker's status. It never counts as a verdict on a track. A changed file drops its lookup in the scan. The re-lookup takes back an id that no longer matches. The first step of loudness normalization: the server measures each track with ffmpeg's EBU R128 filter (true peak, mono as dual mono) and stores the integrated loudness, true peak and loudness range in track_loudness (migration 0065). It also keeps a histogram of the 400 ms gating blocks at 0.1 LU, so album loudness can be computed exactly later with no second decode (#4996). The histogram reproduces ffmpeg's own figure (-10.68 against -10.7 on the captured fixture), and the analyzer logs a warning if the two ever drift. - A background worker, cloned from the fingerprint backfill, measures every track, new ones included. Measuring inline in the scan was dropped: the analysis decodes the whole file, and a large import could pass the scan's one-hour stuck threshold. The scan only deletes a changed file's measurement; the worker ticks every 10 minutes. - Timeouts, the cancel/missing-binary split and settled verdicts follow the fingerprint runner. Silence and undecodable files are stored as verdicts; stalls are retried. The deadline scales with track length. - loudness_settings (enabled, files at once) and an admin card with the coverage gauge, under GET/PUT /api/admin/library/loudness-settings and GET /api/admin/library/loudness. `minstrel admin reset-password` copied the new login password into subsonic_password, which is stored in plain text because Subsonic t/s sign-in needs it. Every account recovered through the CLI had its login password readable in the database, and changing the password later left the copy behind. - reset-password now changes only password_hash. - Migration 0064 clears every subsonic_password, removing the copies. - Settings gets a Subsonic password card: the server generates a random password, shows it once, and it can be regenerated or turned off (GET/POST/DELETE /api/me/subsonic-password, audited). Generated rather than user-chosen so it can never be a reused password. - docs/security.md describes the separate password instead of the known issue. - Every request body is capped at 4 MiB and must arrive within 30s. The deadline is set per request and cleared at end of body rather than via http.Server.ReadTimeout, which would cancel audio streams and the SSE stream once the background read hit it. - IdleTimeout 120s closes idle keep-alive connections. Still no global WriteTimeout, for the same streaming reason. - Streams, album covers and playlist covers are Cache-Control: private, so a shared cache never keeps an authenticated response for others. - A cookie-authenticated write to /api must be application/json (415 otherwise). SameSite=Strict can't see a sibling app on the same registrable domain; forms and no-preflight fetches can't send JSON. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

#3936: Router() built a reacquisition.SettingsService of its own, so a save from the admin card refreshed that instance's cache while the sweeper in main.go kept serving what it loaded at boot. The card showed the new policy, the feature ran the old one, and only a restart reconciled them. main.go now hands its instance to the server (srv.ReacqSettings), as it already did for RecSettings, TagSettings and FingerprintSettings, and Router() constructs one only when that field is nil. The regression test saves through the router and reads the sweeper's instance. #3937: the card's catch tested `e instanceof Error`, but api.put throws a plain {code, message, status} object, so every reason the server gave was discarded in favour of "Couldn't save settings." It now uses errMessage, which appends the server's message for invalid_setting. Its test rejected with an Error no code path produces, so it passed throughout; it now rejects with what the client actually throws. Rule 25: the fingerprinting knobs move out of source into a DB-backed singleton (migration 0061), edited from a card on the Duplicates page and shared live with the scanner, the backfill and the duplicate sweep through one service instance, so a save needs no restart. The length is the knob that can silently break the library: prints taken at two lengths never match. Each track_fingerprints row now records the length it was taken at, and every reader filters on the current one — the backfill treats another length as stale, the gauge counts it pending, the sweep never streams it. Equivalent to a version bump, except that setting the length back makes rows not yet redone current again. The card warns before a length change re-fingerprints the library. Off stops every decode: the scan takes only the stream hash (a demux, and what recognises a moved file) and stores nothing, dropping a changed file's stale row; the backfill idles. A save also makes a sweep due, since a new threshold or length changes what the same prints group into, and the sweep interval gains slack so an hourly interval on an hourly tick doesn't skip every other tick. Reads fingerprints, runs them through the matcher, and records proposals in duplicate_groups (migration 0059). Nothing is merged or deleted: a group is a proposal for the admin report (#3912). Streaming. The whole library's fingerprints are hundreds of megabytes, but tracks are only compared within 3s of each other in duration. So candidates stream in (duration_ms, id) order, keyset-paged on a new tracks(duration_ms, id) index. The grouper holds only the tracks within 3s of the oldest one not yet settled. A seed is settled once a track arrives beyond its window, which gives the same result as grouping the whole sorted list. groupDuplicates is rebuilt on the same streamGrouper, so there is one grouping rule and the #3909 tests still cover it. Each fingerprint's alignment index and variety check are computed once instead of for every pair. Exact duplicates are grouped library-wide in SQL. The first member the stream meets stands in for the whole group in the acoustic pass. An exact group caught in an oversize acoustic cluster is still proposed: the acoustic evidence is discarded, identical bytes are not. Re-sweeping: - a group is identified by its sorted member ids, so finding it again refreshes the row in place - a proposal whose members all sat in one dismissed group is not proposed again (a subset repeats the verdict; a superset is new evidence) - a pending proposal no sweep has found again is retired, but only after a complete sweep, and only if an earlier sweep last confirmed it, so two overlapping sweeps cannot delete each other's findings - dismissals are kept DuplicateSweepWorker checks hourly and sweeps only when a fingerprint was written after the last sweep started. TryStartDuplicateSweep guards against two sweeps at once and reaps one stuck in flight for 2h. The sweep row is closed on a detached context with a deadline, so a sweep cancelled at shutdown still records that it ended. The integration test pages one row at a time and checks: - an acoustic pair and an exact pair are found - a track with no fingerprint, a missing track and a near-duration unrelated song are left out - a dismissed group is suppressed while the pending one refreshes without duplicating - a proposal that stops holding is retired and the dismissal survives Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01SQ31KQpYbStyK5y58UmPLH |

The scan fingerprints only bytes it has not seen, so everything imported before fingerprinting existed, and any row derived by an older fingerprintVersion, needs a pass of its own. That pass is a background worker, not a stage in RunScan. RunScan runs at boot and then every 12h, and an in-flight scan older than an hour is reaped and a second started beside it. A stage would have to stop inside the hour: a few hundred decodes a run, so about a month for a 50k-track library. It would also hold the run in flight and answer manual rescans with 409 while it worked. FingerprintBackfillWorker runs once at start, then hourly. Nothing a pass does (error or panic) can stop the next tick. A pass walks tracks with no fingerprint or a stale version, skipping missing tracks, keyset-paged on id. The cursor is what lets a pass end: an inconclusive attempt writes no row, so a file that keeps timing out would otherwise be re-listed and retried forever. Two decodes at a time, deliberately: they compete with transcoding for CPU and with streaming for the mount. storeFingerprint is now one package function shared by the scan and the worker, and reports whether the attempt was fingerprinted, rejected, inconclusive or failed to store. Progress is a live gauge on the Admin scan card, served by GET /api/admin/library/fingerprints: fingerprinted / rejected / pending of total, with missing tracks excluded so it can reach the end. feat(library): a missing file asks Lidarr for itself, on a backoff — #2527
Answers the open fork on #2527's last slice: automatic, not a button. Until now missing_since was a dead end -- reconcile marks it, every selection path skips it, the admin surface lists it, and there it sits. Two decisions carry most of the safety, both at the design level rather than as rate limits bolted on afterwards. The unit is the ALBUM, not the track. Lidarr acquires releases; there is no meaningful "fetch me one track", and a track-kind request needs a recording MBID plenty of files lack. Grouping means the loss that produced #2523 -- three reorganised albums, ~40 missing files -- becomes three requests instead of forty. The flood problem mostly dissolves. And nothing is requested until a file has been missing longer than the grace window (24h default). A filesystem lies transiently: an unmounted volume, a container that started before its media mount attached, a NAS mid-reboot. Every one of those resolves itself well inside a day at no cost. missing_since is never re-stamped (#2523), so it is a true "gone since" clock to measure against, not "when we last noticed". This is the difference between automatic and trigger-happy. Then the backoff proper: 6h -> 12h -> 24h -> 48h per album, clamped to a week, three attempts before giving up, and a per-pass ceiling so a genuinely large loss trickles instead of dumping hundreds of rows into the queue. Giving up is stamped as a timestamp rather than inferred from attempts >= max, so the verdict survives an operator later raising the maximum and the surface can say when. A sweeper, not a hook inside reconcile. Reconcile runs inside a scan and has no business deciding to talk to a third-party service; it also re-runs often, which would make "attempt once, then back off" awkward to express. A worker paces itself, survives a restart, and retries without needing another scan. Recovered albums have their state deleted rather than reset -- a future loss is a new problem, not a continuation. Requests are attributed to the oldest admin: lidarr_requests.user_id is NOT NULL and a re-acquisition has no requesting human, so this keeps the row auditable and in the same queue as everything else without inventing a synthetic principal the schema would have to understand. Auto-approve defaults ON. Requests are created pending and nothing reaches Lidarr until approval, so with it off this would be a notification rather than an attempt. Lidarr disabled leaves the request pending rather than counting a failure -- the record of intent is still right and becomes actionable the moment Lidarr is configured. Albums with no MBID are counted, not silently skipped: nothing can be asked of Lidarr for a release MusicBrainz cannot name, and quietly doing nothing would read as the feature being broken. Settings are DB-backed per rule #25 with CHECK-guarded ranges, validated in Go as well so the API answers 400 rather than surfacing a constraint violation. The admin card and the state on the missing-files page are next; this is the engine. |

feat(taste): household co-play similarity — #1533
Milestone #160 Opt 5. A collaborative candidate arm: tracks by artists co-played across the instance with the seed's artist. Minstrel is a single shared-library, multi-user server (no per-user library ACL — verified: no owner/share/group model), so the "household" is the whole instance's user set; the rule #47 scoping is satisfied by the shared-library boundary. Single-user servers produce no edges. - No migration: source='user_cooccurrence' was pre-whitelisted in the 0009 similarity CHECK from day one. - internal/db/queries/coplay.sql: Delete + Insert artist co-play edges. Score = Jaccard of the two artists' distinct-player sets (controls for globally-popular artists); >= 2 co-players AND Jaccard >= floor kept (the floor also self-limits hub artists). Completed plays, 365d window. - internal/coplay: periodic worker (6h) that atomic-replaces the user_cooccurrence edge set from play_events — pure local SQL, no external calls. Wired in main.go alongside the similarity worker. - LoadRadioCandidatesV2: new coplay_artists arm (source='user_cooccurrence', seed-artist based, 0.5 damp like similar_artists) + $11 limit; CandidateSourceLimits.UserCoplay (default 20, For-You 40). - Integration tests: perfect-overlap Jaccard=1.0 edge + single-user empty-set gate. Device axis and AcousticBrainz (Opt 4) are separately tracked; this closes the milestone-#160 sequential options. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(tags): wire tag-enrichment worker at startup (#1490 wiring)
Construct the tag SettingsService + Enricher at boot (mirroring coverart: reconcile providers, bump the sources version if the provider set changed to re-open settled rows), then run a standalone background Worker that drains tracks needing folksonomy tags on a periodic tick. Standalone (not threaded through the file-scan chain like cover art) because tag lookups need only DB fields — recording MBID / artist / title — so it mirrors the ListenBrainz similarity worker instead: an initial drain shortly after boot, then every 30 min, up to 200 tracks per tick. feat(tuning): scoring weights → DB-backed admin tuning lab
The recommendation scoring knobs move out of YAML (radio profile) and out of the systemMixWeights hard-code (daily_mix profile) into DB-backed settings with live effect (#1250) — the defaults-discovery lab per decision #1247: the operator turns knobs to find good values, which then get baked back into shipped defaults; end users and other operators should never need the card. - Migration 0040: recommendation_weight_profiles (radio / daily_mix, 8 weight columns), taste_tuning singleton (engagement half-life + completion-curve points), recommendation_tuning_audit (one row per change with a {field, old, new} diff — the trend view's markers, #1251). - internal/recsettings: boot reconcile seeds shipped defaults without clobbering tuned rows (coverart SettingsService pattern), validates patches (bounds, curve ordering), writes audit rows, and pushes daily_mix weights + taste config into package playlists. No-op patches write no audit row. - playlists gains SetSystemMixWeights / SetTasteConfig swap points under a RWMutex — no signature threading through the producers; the scheduler's taste rebuild reads the pushed config. - Radio reads its weight profile from the service per request; the 8 weight fields leave config.RecommendationConfig (YAML keeps only RecentlyPlayedHours / RadioSize / RadioSizeMax). - Admin API: GET/PATCH/reset under /api/admin/recommendation-tuning, echoing current + shipped values. - Web: new admin Tuning tab — two weight profiles side by side, taste card, per-scope save (changed fields only) + reset, deviation dots against shipped defaults. feat(server): POST /api/cast/stream-token + secret bootstrap (UPnP slice 2/6)
Adds the client-facing endpoint that issues a signed stream URL for
the current track. Authenticated via the standard session cookie.
Returns {token, exp, url} where url is a fully-formed stream URL
the client passes verbatim to a UPnP / Sonos device's
AVTransport.SetAVTransportURI call.
expSeconds clamped to [60, 86400]; default 21600 (6h) - long enough
to play through any typical track without re-minting mid-playback.
MINSTREL_STREAM_SECRET is loaded from env var with a per-machine
fallback persisted at <Storage.DataDir>/stream_secret (auto-generated
on first boot via 64 random bytes, base64-url-encoded, 0600). The
file-based fallback is operator-machine-scoped runtime state, not a
user-facing setting - chosen over a DB column to avoid a migration
and keep the secret out of cross-instance restores. Operator can
override at any time via the env var; default path requires zero
config.
Tests cover happy-path token issuance + URL formatting, bad-UUID
rejection, unauthenticated rejection, the expSeconds clamp at all
boundaries, secret env override, auto-gen + file persistence at 0600,
second-boot reuse of the persisted file, and rejection of a malformed
env value.

feat(server): drift audit batch 7 — periodic GC worker for 5 lifecycle gaps
New `internal/gc` package with a single Worker that runs all five lifecycle / retention sweeps from the 2026-06-02 drift audit on a 1-hour tick. Each sweep is small, idempotent (re-running on already-clean rows is a no-op), and logs its affected-row count. Sweeps (Scribe parent #552): - **#566** GcCloseStalePlayEvents — play_events rows opened > 24h ago that never got a play_ended (client crash, network drop). Synthesizes ended_at from duration_played_ms when known, falls back to now() so the row stops looking "open" to downstream filters (ended_at IS NULL). - **#565** GcClosePlaySessionsWithNoRecentEvents — play_sessions with last_event_at older than 6h get ended_at = last_event_at ("user moved on"); empty sessions older than 1h get closed too (stale handshakes from clients that never recorded a play). The audit caught that the column was added but never populated by any writer — every session row was "open" forever, breaking downstream dedup queries that assume closed semantics. - **#567** GcExpireScrobbleQueueFailedRows — drops scrobble_queue rows in status='failed' older than 14 days. The worker stops retrying after maxAttempts so these otherwise accumulate forever on a persistent ListenBrainz outage / revoked token. - **#574** GcResetStuckSystemPlaylistRuns — flips system_playlist_runs.in_flight back to false on rows whose last_run_at is older than 10 minutes. Catches goroutine-panic wedges where the generator died between SET in_flight=true and SET in_flight=false; the duplicate-prevention check refuses to start a fresh regen while in_flight, so a stuck row would otherwise deadlock all future regens for that user. Records "stuck-row auto-reset by gc" in last_error so the operator can tell auto-reset from a recent real failure. - **#575** GcDeleteExpiredPasswordResets — deletes expired password_resets rows. Unused expired rows go after a 1h grace (gives the operator time to debug an active reset attempt); used rows are kept 7 days for audit. Wiring: - main.go `go gcWorker.Run(ctx)` alongside the other periodic workers (scrobble, similarity, lidarr). - tickOnce fires once at start so a freshly-deployed server does its initial sweep without waiting a full tick, matching the scrobble worker pattern. - Errors per sweep are logged but do NOT abort the remaining ones — a transient pgx error from one query shouldn't prevent the others from running. Tests: - 4 integration tests, one per UPDATE/DELETE sweep, that seed rows-to-sweep + rows-to-leave-alone and assert the right rows changed state. Skip unless MINSTREL_TEST_DATABASE_URL is set (mirrors the api package pattern). - Empty-tables no-op smoke test. - Run() cancellation honoured (no spinning goroutine at test-runner exit). That's all five remaining server-side lifecycle findings from the audit. The Android LOCAL_USER_ID hardcode (#576) is a separate refactor that needs auth-store wiring and stays in the queue. |

fix(player+lidarr): mini-player sync race; durable approve + dedup
player: setQueueFromTracks fast-starts a single source at player-index 0 while the full queue is broadcast, so the transient currentIndexStream→0 emission clobbered the correct mediaItem with queue.value[0] (the first track). Mini bar / playlist marker pinned to the wrong track until a later index event (~the "passive ~30s recovery"). Track a logical-index base so the player→queue mapping stays correct during the fill window; also fixes the latent forward-fill auto-advance off-by-base. lidarr #50: approving no longer fails when Lidarr is down. Approve records the decision durably first, then best-effort adds; the reconciler idempotently (re)sends unconfirmed adds every tick until they stick (new additive lidarr_add_confirmed_at; AddArtist/AddAlbum map Lidarr's "already exists" 400 → ErrAlreadyExists). No failed-state or expiry by design — Lidarr keeps trying, operator monitors. lidarr #51: Create() is now idempotent — a non-terminal request for the same MBID returns the existing row instead of inserting a duplicate. Rewrites the obsolete LidarrUnreachable_503 test to assert the durable- approve contract; threads a client factory into NewReconciler. feat(cli,ci): admin reset-password + migrate subcommands; test-DB isolation + CI integration job
#321 — `minstrel admin reset-password [-user admin] [-password X]`: loads config, updates BOTH password_hash (bcrypt) and subsonic_password (plaintext, for Subsonic t+s) so neither auth path is left stale; generates+prints a strong password when -password is omitted. Recovers a locked-out operator without DB surgery. Subcommand dispatch added to main.go (os.Args switch before flag-parse; server path untouched) plus a `minstrel migrate` subcommand exposing db.Migrate standalone. #339 — integration tests no longer truncate the dev DB: - deploy/initdb creates minstrel_test on a fresh compose volume; `make test-integration` ensures it idempotently and points MINSTREL_TEST_DATABASE_URL at minstrel_test. - docker-compose.yml + README updated. CI integration job (test-go.yml): the prior workflow only ran `go test -short -race` with no DB, so the entire integration suite silently t.Skip'd — "CI green" never covered API/db/scanner. New `integration` job runs the full `go test -race` against an ephemeral Postgres service, using the act_runner shared-daemon pattern: no published ports, discover the service container by job-name filter via the docker socket, reach it by bridge IP, hard exactly-one assertion + dev-compose-name reject (a wrong target would truncate real data), TCP-wait, `minstrel migrate`, then test. Fast `test` job kept as the quick gate. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(coverart): #388 remove global cover-art backfill cap
Operator feedback (2026-05-09): the 500-album cap meant cover art rolled
in over many nightly runs even when local sources (sidecar/embedded)
could finish in minutes. Remove the global cap; rely on the existing
per-provider HTTP throttle (coverart httpClient MinInterval) so local
art is disk-speed and remote providers stay TOS-friendly.
- enricher.go / artist_enricher.go: EnrichBatch, EnrichArtistBatch,
EnrichRetryMissing now treat limit<0 as unbounded (0 still = stage
disabled). The cap was a SQL LIMIT; unbounded uses max int32.
- main.go: RunScanConfig EnrichCap/ArtistEnrichCap = -1 (unbounded).
- Drop LibraryConfig.CoverArtBackfillCap + the
MINSTREL_LIBRARY_COVERART_BACKFILL_CAP env var.
- Drop the now-dead coverBackfillCap param threaded through
server.New + api.Mount + the handlers struct.
- Admin bulk refetch (/api/admin/covers/refetch-missing) now drains
unbounded; response {queued:int} → {started:bool} (the count is
unknowable synchronously for a fire-and-forget drain). Web copy +
client type + Go/web tests updated to match.
No doc refs existed (config.example.yaml / docker-compose / README
never documented the env var).

feat(#357): library_changes retention compactor
Closes the last deferred follow-up from #357. The library_changes table is the append-only change log that drives /api/library/sync's delta semantics — every mutation (scanner upsert, like, playlist edit, track delete) writes one row. Without a retention policy the table grows unbounded; the original migration (0025) called out the follow-up explicitly. New goroutine: sync.Compactor runs daily, deletes rows where changed_at < now - 30 days. Logs a row count when non-zero so operators can see compaction activity in the journal. First tick fires on startup so a process that hasn't been compacted in a while catches up immediately. 30-day retention matches the offline-mode spec (docs/superpowers/specs/2026-05-09-flutter-offline-mode-design.md). Clients with a cursor older than that hit the existing 410 fallback path and resync from scratch. Imported as syncpkg in main.go to follow the existing convention (see internal/library/scanner.go). feat(playlists): wire Refresh into PUT /api/me/timezone + registration
Completes the server side of #392 Half B. PUT /api/me/timezone now calls scheduler.Refresh(ctx, userID) after the DB write so the rescheduled daily-at-03:00-local job takes effect synchronously. Failure to refresh is logged but doesn't undo the DB write — the hourly reconciliation pass would pick it up within an hour regardless. POST /api/auth/register calls Refresh after successful user insert so brand-new users get scheduled immediately rather than waiting for the hourly pass to discover them. system_cron.go deleted: the new scheduler subsumes its responsibilities. The StartSystemPlaylistCron call in main.go is also removed. Server restart now runs the new scheduler's startup recovery + catch-up instead. feat(playlists): gocron-based per-user scheduler
Builds the per-user daily-at-03:00-local scheduler for #392 Half B. Uses github.com/go-co-op/gocron/v2 with WithLocation(userTZ) for each user's job. Hourly reconciliation pass keeps the in-memory job set in sync with the active-users query. Start sequence: clear stale in_flight rows; register a daily job for every active user at their stored timezone; fire a one-shot runOnce to catch up missed schedules during downtime; start gocron. Stop drains and shuts down the gocron loop. Refresh(ctx, userID) removes the user's existing job (if any) and registers a fresh one at their current timezone — wired into the PUT /api/me/timezone handler and new-user registration in the next commit. Server struct gains PlaylistScheduler; main.go constructs it after the eventbus and threads it through to api.Mount. The existing StartSystemPlaylistCron call stays for one more commit so we don't have a window where no scheduler is running; Task 3 deletes it. feat(#392): scan run lifecycle events on the SSE bus
Slice 3c — completes the server-side producer set. Publishes scan.run_started when InsertScanRun succeeds and scan.run_finished after FinishScanRun completes (success or with an error_message payload). Per-file progress events are intentionally NOT emitted — they'd flood the stream during large library scans without giving the admin scan card anything actionable. The two-beat signal gives the UI enough to invalidate scanStatusProvider at the right moments. Bus access uses a package-level setter on internal/library because threading bus through RunScan + TryStartScan + Scheduler + all their callers would touch ~10 sites without changing behavior at the boundaries that don't publish. Per-process singleton, matches the log.SetDefault idiom. cmd/minstrel/main.go calls library.SetEventBus(bus) once at startup; test contexts that never call it skip publishing safely (publishScanEvent is a no-op when bus is nil). This completes the server side of #392. Slice 4 wires the Flutter consumer: live_events_provider.dart (StreamProvider) + live_events_dispatcher.dart (event-kind → provider invalidation) + AppLifecycleState cold-start invalidation. feat(#392): lidarr reconciler publishes request.status_changed on complete
Slice 3b — extends event publishing to background workers. When the reconciler matches an approved Lidarr request against the library and flips it to 'completed', it now publishes a request.status_changed event scoped to the original requester so their /requests page invalidates without polling. Three call sites — one per kind (artist / album / track) — capture the completed row instead of discarding it so the publish has the user_id. Bus plumbing: the reconciler runs in cmd/minstrel/main.go which constructs services before server.New is called. Moved bus construction into main; the Server struct gained a Bus field that Router() reads, falling back to a fresh local instance when nil (test contexts). Result: one bus per process shared by every publisher and the SSE subscriber endpoint. reconciler.go inlines a uuid->string helper rather than reaching into internal/api for one — avoids a back-edge dependency. Test compat: 9 NewReconciler call sites in reconciler_integration_test.go get `nil` for the new bus param. The reconciler's publishCompleted helper is a no-op when the bus is nil so tests that don't care about events keep passing. Scanner producer (scan.progress) deferred to slice 3c — needs more thought about which lifecycle transitions warrant events vs. flood the stream. refactor(server): remove bootstrap admin path
The bootstrap-admin-from-env-vars flow was a holdover from before self-registration could create the first admin. Now that handleRegister + CreateUserFirstAdminRace promotes the first user to register on an empty users table (verified shipped in v2026.05.08.2 / #376), the bootstrap path is just a second source of truth that confuses operators (and leaves an "admin" account in the DB that nobody asked for). Removes: - internal/auth/bootstrap.go + its test - The auth.Bootstrap call from cmd/minstrel/main.go - AuthConfig + AdminBootstrapConfig structs from config - MINSTREL_AUTH_ADMIN_USERNAME / _PASSWORD env reads + their test - The auth: block from config.example.yaml - Bootstrap-related comments in docker-compose.yml + README.md The README quickstart now points operators at /register on first start instead of "watch the logs for a one-time password." Existing instances keep their bootstrap-admin row in the DB; operators who want it gone can register a new admin via /register, promote them in /admin/users, then delete the old bootstrap user (last-admin guard will require the new admin to be promoted first). No migration needed. Recovery story for forgotten admin passwords now hinges on Fable #321 (admin password reset CLI) — currently the only path back in if no other admin exists. feat(server/playlists): generate cover collages for system playlists
System-generated playlists ("For You", "Songs like X") rendered with
empty placeholder boxes in the UI even when their contributing tracks
had album art. The build path inserted playlist rows directly without
ever invoking the existing playlists.GenerateCollage machinery —
that was only wired into user-edited playlist mutations.
After this change, BuildSystemPlaylists generates a 4-cell collage
for every system playlist it creates, post-commit. Same cover
mechanism user playlists use, same on-disk layout
(<DataDir>/playlist_covers/<id>.jpg). Cells whose source album lacks
art fall back to the FabledSword glyph, so a partially-covered
library still produces a sensible visual.
Threading: BuildSystemPlaylists, StartSystemPlaylistCron, and the
api lazy-build path all gain a dataDir string parameter; main.go
passes cfg.Storage.DataDir.
Drops the now-redundant PickTopAlbumCoverForArtistByUser lookup —
the collage is more visually informative than a single album cover
copy, and the seed-artist's top album is one of the contributing
tracks in the mix anyway, so it'll appear as one of the four cells.
Tests pass t.TempDir() for the dataDir parameter.

feat(server/coverart): auto-bump version on registered-provider change
On boot, the SettingsService computes a SHA-256 hash of the sorted registered-provider IDs and compares to the hash stored on cover_art_sources_meta. Mismatch → atomic bump of current_version + update of stored hash. The next enrichment pass picks up the new version, all 'none' rows become eligible, and they get retried against the new chain (now including Deezer / Last.fm). One-shot: subsequent boots without a provider-set change don't bump again. The check is best-effort — failures are logged at Warn but don't refuse startup; a temporarily unreachable DB at boot just means 'none' rows stay parked until a manual re-search (next task). Tests cover first-boot (empty stored hash → bump), repeat-boot (no change → no bump), and the registered-providers-hash determinism. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(deploy): writable data_dir in container + fatal-on-mkdir
The Dockerfile created the minstrel user but never set a WORKDIR or pre-created a writable data dir. With the default DataDir of "./data" and CWD of "/", every MkdirAll attempt failed with "permission denied" under the non-root user, and the boot code only logged a Warn before continuing. Result: every artist-art enrichment failed at "mkdir artist-art: mkdir data: permission denied"; the operator saw "0 successes" with no signal as to why. Three changes: - Dockerfile: WORKDIR /app, pre-create /app/data with minstrel ownership, and ENV MINSTREL_STORAGE_DATA_DIR=/app/data so the binary doesn't fall back to the broken "./data" default even if the operator forgets to set it. - docker-compose.yml: explicit MINSTREL_STORAGE_DATA_DIR + a named volume mounted at /app/data so cached art persists across container recreates. - cmd/minstrel/main.go: MkdirAll failure is now fatal. Silent breakage here cascades into every cache (playlist covers, artist art, album-cover fallbacks); refusing to start surfaces the misconfig immediately. Also wires Enricher.DataDir from cfg in preparation for the album-cover sidecar fallback (next commit). |

feat(server/m7-recurring-scans): admin schedule HTTP handlers
Two new endpoints under existing RequireAdmin middleware: - GET /api/admin/scan/schedule — returns config + computed next_scheduled_at (ISO 8601; null when mode='off') - PATCH /api/admin/scan/schedule — validates per-mode required fields, normalizes mode='off' to NULL the per-mode fields, writes via UpdateScanSchedule, calls scheduler.Refresh(), returns the updated record. server.New + api.Mount gain a *library.Scheduler parameter; handlers struct + Server struct gain the scheduler field. Test stubs (server_test.go, library_test.go's Mount call) updated to pass nil. Tests gated on MINSTREL_TEST_DATABASE_URL: GET default is mode=off with null next; PATCH daily produces a 03:00 next-fire; PATCH weekly without weekly_day → 400; PATCH off normalizes lingering per-mode fields to NULL; non-admin → 403. feat(server/m7-recurring-scans): Scheduler goroutine + boot wiring
Adds ScheduleConfig + NextFire (per-mode logic for off/interval/ daily/weekly) and the Scheduler struct + loop goroutine. The loop reads scan_schedule on boot and on Refresh signals, computes next-fire, sleeps via time.Timer, and calls TryStartScan when the timer fires. Skip-on-conflict logging happens inside tryFire when TryStartScan reports started=false with a non-stale in-flight row. Boot wiring: cmd/minstrel/main.go constructs the scheduler after coverEnricher and calls Start with the server's long-lived ctx. The scheduler is not yet plumbed into the HTTP handlers (the next task does that — handlers gain a scheduler field, admin schedule endpoints land). Tests cover the NextFire truth table (off / interval / daily today + tomorrow / weekly today-before-time + today-after-time + upcoming day) plus invalid configs and parseHHMM edge cases. Refresh is verified non-blocking via the buffered-channel + default pattern. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(server/m7-cover-sources): admin cover-sources HTTP handlers
Three endpoints for the admin Settings UI:
- GET /api/admin/cover-sources — lists registered providers with
current settings + capability badges + sources_version
- PATCH /api/admin/cover-sources/{provider_id} — updates enabled
and/or api_key; returns version_bumped: true only when the
enabled set changed
- POST /api/admin/cover-sources/{provider_id}/test — invokes
TestableProvider.TestConnection; returns ok:bool + duration_ms +
error string. Returns 200 in both success and failure cases (the
operation completed; the test result is data, not an error).
api_key is never echoed in GET — replaced with api_key_set: bool
to follow the standard credential-display convention. PATCH
api_key: "" clears; omitting the field leaves it unchanged. PATCH
on an unknown provider_id returns 404.
All under existing RequireAdmin middleware. Routes registered
alongside the library/coverage endpoint in the /api/admin/ tree.
handlers struct gains a coverSettings *coverart.SettingsService
field; server.New + cmd/minstrel/main.go plumb the existing
coverSettings instance through.
coverart.ResetRegistryForTests() exported wrapper added so api
package tests can reset the registry without importing internals.

feat(server,web/m7-cover-sources): scan-orchestrator 4th stage
Adds an artist-art-enrich stage after cover-enrich in RunScan. The stage drains EnrichArtistBatch with a configurable cap and the operator's data_dir, persists processed/succeeded/failed tallies to the scan_runs.artist_art_enrich jsonb column added in migration 0018. The admin /admin Library Scan card grid expands from 3 to 4 columns with the new "Artist art" card mirroring the cover-enrichment one (Processed / Succeeded / Failed). The TS ScanStatus type gains an optional artist_art_enrich field. The Go scanStatusResp gains the matching ArtistArtEnrich json.RawMessage field. cmd/minstrel/main.go (and admin scan-trigger handler) wire the new RunScanConfig fields: ArtistEnrichCap reuses cfg.Library.CoverArtBackfillCap for now (can be split if separate budgets are useful), DataDir is cfg.Storage.DataDir. feat(server/m7-cover-sources): album enricher uses provider chain
Rewires EnrichAlbum to iterate EnabledAlbumProviders from the SettingsService instead of a single hardcoded MBCAA fetcher. Sidecar layer is unchanged (always tried first). Per-row eligibility check honors cover_art_sources_version: terminal 'found' values skip; 'none' flips to NULL via ClearAlbumCoverNone and proceeds (the DB- level ListAlbumsMissingCover query guards the version check for batch callers; RetryAlbum clears via ClearAlbumCover first); NULL is eligible. The provider chain uses an inline allWere404 accumulator to settle the row to 'none' only when every provider returned ErrNotFound. Any provider returning ErrTransient leaves the row NULL for next- pass retry — even if other providers returned ErrNotFound — since the transient call's MBID might succeed on a future attempt. Boot wiring (cmd/minstrel/main.go) replaces the NewFetcher+NewEnricher(fetcher, mbcaaOn) shape with NewMBCAAProviderFromConfig (swaps in production User-Agent on the registered provider) + NewSettingsService + NewEnricher(settings). The old cfg.Library.CoverArtFromMBCAA flag is no-op'd; DB-backed settings replace it. Field stays in the config struct for backward compat with deployed config files. Consolidates fetcher.go's HTTP logic into provider_mbcaa.go (no more wrapper indirection): mbcaaProvider now holds cfg/mu/lastCall/client directly. Deletes fetcher.go and fetcher_test.go. ErrNotFound and ErrTransient move into provider.go alongside the other sentinels. Updates admin_covers_test.go and provider_mbcaa_test.go to the new constructor shapes. Adds multi-provider-chain, transient-leaves-null, and stale-none-flips-and-retries test cases in enricher_test.go. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |
