Host CPU, memory and load per core, container CPU and memory, and every
monitor's response time learn a normal per hour (milestone 513, System 182).
A reading past its fixed cutoff but within its normal reads healthy and says
what is usual at this hour; one well out of it keeps its grade and is a
metric anomaly. Disk, a monitor down and an agent offline keep their cutoffs.

- Each normal's floor, the smallest departure that counts, is a setting:
Settings -> Thresholds -> Normals (norms.floor.*). Defaults: host CPU 10
points, host memory 5, load per core 10, container CPU 10 points of one
  core, container memory 5, monitor response 100 ms; Traefik's 2-point 4xx
and 50 ms p95 floors move there from constants. learn_normal takes a
floor function (floor_setting) read at each pass.
- learn_normal(parts=False): a host learns, its cores don't.
- Ingest records load_pct (load_1m / cores x 100), the figure pages grade.
- Shared grading: anomalies.against / graded, worst_reading(normals=),
  hosts' host_grades, docker usage(thresholds=, norms=), monitors'
latency_grade. Applied to host vitals, the Hosts widget, MCP overview,
Docker usage, and the monitor list, widget and page.
- The monitor and container pages list their anomalies.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 5569f9934e feat(anomalies): a metric out of its normal is an anomaly to review (#5740)

#5740 "A metric that departs from its normal is recorded as an anomaly to
review, and is findable after it ends", milestone 513.

- Every minute each learned key's last 15 minutes is judged against its
hour's normal: above the usual hold x1.25 and by the metric's floor opens
an occurrence, which ends when the level comes back.
- metric_anomalies holds one row per item to review; a repeat while it
still waits joins it as an occurrence (metric_anomaly_spans).
- An ended row nobody reviews within anomalies.review_days (14, Settings ->
Thresholds) lapses; an ongoing one never does.
- Learning skips every hour an occurrence covers unless its anomaly was
marked normal: no normal is learned without review.
- Alerts -> Anomalies lists those to review first, then the reviewed and
lapsed under day dividers; marking is operator/admin and audited.
- The Overview widget and get_overview warn of open ones and count those
to review; the host page shows its own; the weekly report lists the
week's and the lapsed; MCP list_anomalies and review_anomaly.
- Reviewed and lapsed rows are pruned at data.retention_days, and kept
  in backups like alert history.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 cbbf186f17 feat(metrics): each rolled-up hour keeps the level it held, its p95 (#5738)

plugin_metrics_hourly gains value_p95 beside value_avg and value_max. A
two-minute backup spike raises the hour's peak and leaves its p95 low; an
hour spent at that level raises both. Learned normals (milestone 513) need
that difference to call a recurring spike usual without calling the same
level held at another hour usual too. Hours rolled up before this keep a
NULL p95 and read as their average.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 3474cdff46 feat(mcp): connect card, MCP docs, and an end-to-end roles/audit test over HTTP
CI / lint (push) Successful in 1s
CI / integration (push) Successful in 44s
CI / unit (push) Successful in 1m5s
CI / publish (push) Successful in 1m15s
MCP-8 #4972 "Connect card, docs, and end-to-end integration test".

- AI access page: a "Connect a client" card with the /mcp URL (from
Settings → General → Public base URL, else the request host) and recipes
for Claude Code, Claude Desktop (mcp-remote) and other Streamable HTTP
clients, plus the reverse-proxy note. The token-created page shows the
same recipes with the new token filled in, ready to paste.
- docs/core/mcp.md: connecting, the reverse-proxy requirements, the
security model (token ceiling, default deny, check-mode default, secrets,
audit), tools by role, response conventions, adding tools.
docs/architecture.md describes the /mcp dispatch outside the blueprint
pipeline; docs/reference/code-map.md gains an MCP section.
- tests/integration/test_mcp.py: over HTTP, a viewer token lists no write
tools and is refused one by name; an operator token reads get_overview
and its maintenance-window create/end land in the audit log as
"<user> via MCP" with the token id. (Revoked → 401 was already covered.)

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 4.7 88ab5b917e chore: rename project Roundtable → Steward
Renames the Python package directory, CLI command, env var prefix,
docker-compose service/container/image, Postgres role/db, and all
visible branding. Marketing form is "Fabled Steward".

Clean break from the previous rebrand: drops the fabledscryer→roundtable
import shim in __init__.py and the FABLEDSCRYER_* env var fallback in
config.py and migrations/env.py. Env vars are now STEWARD_* only.

Heads-up for existing deployments:
- Postgres user/db renamed fabledscryer → steward in docker-compose.yml.
Existing volumes need the role/db renamed inside Postgres, or override
POSTGRES_USER/POSTGRES_DB to keep the old names.
- Host-agent systemd unit is now steward-agent.service. Existing agents
keep running under the old name; reinstall to switch.

bvandeusen 0596f1d9c1 docs: roundtable rename sweep
Sweeps README, docs/, example configs, code docstrings, report and
notification subject lines, plugin catalog URL default, and stray
comments in Dockerfile/entrypoint.sh/.gitignore. Adds a legacy note
to docs/core/configuration.md explaining the FABLEDSCRYER_* fallback.
docker-compose DB credentials intentionally left as fabledscryer to
preserve the existing pgdata volume.

bvandeusenandClaude Sonnet 4.6 230b542015 feat: rename to FabledScryer, multi-dashboard system, plugin management, branding
- Rename package fablednetmon → fabledscryer throughout
- Multi-dashboard: ownership, per-user defaults, HTMX edit (add/remove/reorder)
- Read-only share tokens scoped to individual dashboards
- Dashboard edit is HTMX-driven (no page reloads)
- Plugin management system: remote catalog, download/install, hot-reload, in-app restart
- plugin_index.py: fetch/cache remote index.yaml; default URL → bvandeusen/fabledscryer-plugins
- plugin_manager.py: download_and_install_plugin, hot_reload_plugin, restart_app
  - ZIP extraction handles GitHub archive formats (name-v1.0.0/, name-main/)
- Settings split into tabbed sections: General, Notifications, Ansible, Plugins
- Plugins tab: catalog browser (HTMX), install/activate/update/restart actions
- UI/branding: dark palette (#07071a), crystal ball SVG logo, animated star field,
Libertinus Serif applied to headings, nav, labels, and section titles
- Widget registry (core/widgets.py) for dashboard plugin integration
- UPS widget.html (dashboard card) and settings/_tabs.html include
- Migrations 0005–0008: dashboards, is_default, ownership, share tokens
- docs/plugins/: writing-a-plugin.md updated with publishing guide,
  index.yaml.example template for fabledscryer-plugins repo
