bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 c5eeec471f rename(547): the plugin is grimoire — manifest, MCP key, hooks, env, skills

Step 3 of the Scribe -> Grimoire rename.

- Plugin `grimoire` in marketplace `grimoire-plugin`, MCP server key
`grimoire`, so tools reach a session as mcp__plugin_grimoire_grimoire__*.
- hooks/scribe_* -> hooks/grimoire_*, their shell functions and the TMPDIR
  ledgers with them; SCRIBE_URL / SCRIBE_TOKEN / SCRIBE_HOOK_DIR /
SCRIBE_LEDGER_DIRS -> GRIMOIRE_*; the project marker is `.grimoire`.
- skills/using-scribe -> using-grimoire, /grimoire:sync, stored processes
arrive as grimoire-proc-<slug>; moment_actions names them the same way.
- Migration 0124 rewrites stored skill names (rule_moments,
  rule_moment_judgments, moment_mappings) from scribe:/scribe-proc- to
grimoire:/grimoire-proc-, so a rule mounted on a skill keeps firing.
- Settings' install commands and MCP-only defaults, the docs and the
  tests follow.
- scripts/check_plugin.py drops the smoke event for a report-check hook
that has no file in plugin/hooks.

Kept on purpose: the secret-sealing label, and the names that let backups
written as Scribe restore and be counted.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 e99f1169f7 rename(547): what people read says Grimoire

Step 1 of the Scribe -> Grimoire rename: every capitalised "Scribe" in prose
becomes "Grimoire" ("Fabled Scribe" -> "Fabled Grimoire") across the UI,
the PWA manifest and page title, the MCP instructions and tool docstrings,
hook and skill text, docs and README, with the tests that assert on that
prose moving with it. Old migrations keep their wording.

Identifiers are untouched here: the package, plugin name, MCP server key,
hook file names, env vars, the .scribe marker and FabledScribe repo/image
names move in steps 2 and 3, along with prose that quotes them.

The sweep matched "Scribe" only as a whole word, so describe/subscribe and
friends are untouched. The longer name took the MCP instructions one
character over their 1,600 budget; two phrases are shortened to fit.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 17777e9bb1 docs(6204): shipped instruction text describes the product, not this instance's records
CI & Build / Python lint (push) Successful in 3s
CI & Build / Plugin hooks (push) Successful in 15s
CI & Build / TypeScript typecheck (push) Successful in 53s
CI & Build / integration (push) Successful in 1m10s

CI & Build / Build & push image (push) Successful in 39s
MCP tool docstrings and comments, the server's orientation notes, the plugin
skills, every hook script and the plugin README/PACKAGING drop record ids,
milestone numbers, dates and incident stories, and state each non-obvious why
as a present-tense fact. History stays in the task logs.

Corrections found on the way:
- plugin README/PACKAGING said every hook is a GET; moment, rule-opened and
reply-rules POST, so the plugin's key needs write scope. Both now say so,
name Settings -> MCP Access, and list every wired hook and endpoint.
- the contract-change hint printed "(lesson #4207)", this instance's record,
to every install. It no longer cites a record.
- tasks.py claimed there is no delete_task; there is.
- rulebooks.py cited delete_event and a design spec that no longer exist.
- scribe_after_write.sh carried an always-empty etag_q; removed.
- test_write_path_trigger pinned "| tac | scribe_defs | head -1", text that
existed only in a comment about the old code; it now pins the real tail -1
  pipeline.
- docs/development.md: CI runs on Gitea Actions.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 dfcf4df2e9 feat(moments): mount the corpus by proposal - a pass and an open-after-moment signal, both stopping at the operator (milestone 458 step 7, #4925)
CI & Build / Python lint (push) Successful in 3s
CI & Build / Plugin hooks (push) Successful in 19s
CI & Build / integration (push) Failing after 43s
CI & Build / Python tests (push) Failing after 46s

A rule written before moments existed is mounted on nothing. Step 7 records,
per (rule, moment), whether it belongs there and who said so:

- rule_moment_judgments (migration 0118, backup v23): suggested / confirmed /
rejected, from a pass, the signal, or an edit. Moment "" is "no moment fits".
- The pass: rules_to_mount lists unjudged rules; propose_rule_moments records
suggestions that mount nothing; rule_moment_proposals and
judge_rule_moments put them to the operator. A confirm mounts, a reject is
kept so the pair is never proposed again. Same service behind REST and a
"Waiting on you" panel in Settings > Moments.
- Edits are judgments: set_rule_moments, the one mount write path, confirms
what was added and rejects what was removed in the same transaction.
- The signal: scribe_moment.sh keeps a per-session acts ledger; when a rule
is opened, scribe_record_opened.sh sends the last three minutes of it to
  /api/plugin/rule-opened. The acts resolve through the install's mappings;
work.run and work.change are not evidence. Counted per distinct session
with lesson_rules' evidence model, and once due the open returns one line
asking the reader to offer the mount.
- scribe_session_end.sh removes the session's scribe-moment files.

bvandeusenandClaude Opus 5.5 952e56ee75 feat(tasks): the hand-off — SessionEnd releases a session's claims; the practice is written down (milestone 381 step 4)
CI & Build / Python lint (push) Successful in 3s
CI & Build / Plugin hooks (push) Successful in 12s
CI & Build / TypeScript typecheck (push) Successful in 52s
CI & Build / integration (push) Successful in 59s
CI & Build / Python tests (push) Successful in 1m40s
CI & Build / Build & push image (push) Successful in 24s
Release is the mechanical half: scribe_session_end.sh sends the ending
session's id to /api/plugin/release-session, which releases the claims it
held. A tidy-up, not the guarantee (no SessionEnd on a crash; the lease
covers that), and skipped on /clear so SessionStart(clear) can still
hand the claimed work back.

Saying what happened is the half only the model can do. It is stated as a
practice where it is read: the using-scribe skill owns it ("Hand off before
this session's context stops existing", pinned in test_guidance_ownership),
the static context points at it for the wrap-up moment, and add_task_log's
docstring says a log claims the task. _INSTRUCTIONS is untouched.
