rename(547): the plugin is grimoire — manifest, MCP key, hooks, env, skills

Step 3 of the Scribe -> Grimoire rename. - Plugin `grimoire` in marketplace `grimoire-plugin`, MCP server key `grimoire`, so tools reach a session as mcp__plugin_grimoire_grimoire__*. - hooks/scribe_* -> hooks/grimoire_*, their shell functions and the TMPDIR ledgers with them; SCRIBE_URL / SCRIBE_TOKEN / SCRIBE_HOOK_DIR / SCRIBE_LEDGER_DIRS -> GRIMOIRE_*; the project marker is `.grimoire`. - skills/using-scribe -> using-grimoire, /grimoire:sync, stored processes arrive as grimoire-proc-<slug>; moment_actions names them the same way. - Migration 0124 rewrites stored skill names (rule_moments, rule_moment_judgments, moment_mappings) from scribe:/scribe-proc- to grimoire:/grimoire-proc-, so a rule mounted on a skill keeps firing. - Settings' install commands and MCP-only defaults, the docs and the tests follow. - scripts/check_plugin.py drops the smoke event for a report-check hook that has no file in plugin/hooks. Kept on purpose: the secret-sealing label, and the names that let backups written as Scribe restore and be counted. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

rename(547): the server is grimoire — package, image, DB defaults, backups

Step 2 of the Scribe -> Grimoire rename. - src/scribe -> src/grimoire, and every import, patch target, module path, hypercorn entry point and `python -m grimoire.restore` with it; pyproject, uv.lock and the frontend package are named grimoire. - Image git.fabledsword.com/bvandeusen/fabledgrimoire; CI's Postgres service runs as grimoire / grimoire_test. - Compose files default the DB user, database and (prod) volume to grimoire, each overridable from .env, so an install created as Scribe keeps its data by setting POSTGRES_USER, POSTGRES_DB and PGDATA_VOLUME. - Backups are written as grimoire-<ts>.tar with format grimoire-backup-tar. Archives named scribe-* with the scribe-backup-tar manifest still restore and are still counted at the destination (folder and S3), with tests. - Exports, the MCP auth realm, the ASGI scope key and the persistent logger carry the new name. Kept on purpose: the secret-sealing key label stays "scribe.secrets.v1", because every stored secret was derived under it. Plugin identity (plugin name, hooks, env vars, .scribe marker, skills) is step 3. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

docs(6209): the remaining test files — lessons, reply moment and shape, retrieval specs and scopes, rule doors and judgments, services, snippets, search scope; five tests renamed to their property

CI & Build / Plugin hooks (push) Successful in 17s
CI & Build / TypeScript typecheck (push) Successful in 57s

Docstrings, section headers and assertion messages drop the record number, milestone or step that introduced the behaviour, and incident accounts are restated as the present-tense failure shape. A dead pointer to a design doc that is not in the repo is removed. Renamed to the property they check: test_the_old_shape_would_be_caught -> test_a_rank_then_scope_query_is_caught test_a_ledger_repeat_no_longer_produces_that_case_at_all -> test_a_ledger_repeat_is_counted_not_withheld test_the_header_no_longer_promises_once_per_session -> test_the_header_explains_the_seen_marker test_the_portal_case_no_longer_stamps_one_canon_onto_a_whole_file -> test_one_canon_is_not_stamped_onto_a_whole_file test_the_repos_own_prose_no_longer_defines_with -> test_the_repos_own_prose_does_not_define_with test_the_original_regression_create_note_with_content -> test_the_real_server_refuses_content_on_create_note Fixture and example ids stay: "note 5" in a supersession chain, "rule 156" in an illustrative question, `#2275` as the hex-versus-citation case, `#3244` as the example of a bare number, fixed dates in date-filter tests. feat(500): one end-of-turn request - the completion-section check folds into the reply check
CI & Build / Python lint (push) Successful in 3s
CI & Build / Plugin hooks (push) Successful in 13s
CI & Build / TypeScript typecheck (push) Successful in 53s
CI & Build / integration (push) Successful in 1m7s

The Stop hook sent the finished reply twice: scribe_report_check.sh checked a task-closing reply for the completion sections in shell and reported to /report-check, and scribe_reply_check.sh sent the same reply to /reply-rules for the rule hold. Now the reply goes once. When the turn closed a task the hook adds the close count and ids, and the server runs the section check (services/report_check, the same three patterns) beside the reply hold, folding both into one reason. The report_check adherence log is still written for every checked reply (milestone 409's number). A section hold marks the session, so its rewrite is sent back once with rewrite:true to record how it came out, and is never held. The block reason carries the completion shape's one line and points at list_reply_shapes rather than at the skill. #5496 (step 4 of milestone 500). feat(moments): the reply moment holds a finished reply for one read (milestone 458 step 4b, #4922)

CI & Build / integration (push) Successful in 1m1s

The reply is the one act no tool call marks, and it is where "let me know if it works" gets said. A new Stop hook (scribe_reply_check.sh) sends the finished reply to POST /api/plugin/reply-rules, which checks it twice: - mounted: every unopened RULE on reply.report, plus reply.ask when the reply asks a question. Deterministic. - semantic: the reply's head and tail against every rule's trigger, on a new ranked surface, reply_rule. It is the backstop for whatever the earlier arms missed. Its floor is its stop bar (default 0.80, budget 1), with its own Settings dials. The new stop_only stage records surfacing for the rule that holds and nothing else, because nothing else reached anyone. Following the operator's ruling from 456 step 8, a rule that holds blocks once, in the server's words. The hook blocks only on a reason it was given, so an unreachable instance never stops a session, and it never holds the rewrite. The ledger is the act checkpoint's own, so a rule holds a session once across both doors and the per-session cap counts both. The turn reader moved from the report check into scribe_defs.sh (scribe_turn_facts / scribe_turn_fact), so the two Stop hooks read a turn the same way. The output was checked identical on a real transcript. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |
